Information You Send
Search queries
A name, place, or other term entered into a search box is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Bonner County Busted Mugshots does not store or log those search terms on its own server. The provider's privacy notice controls its handling of the query.
Messages and requests
An email or contact message is kept long enough to read, reply, and maintain a basic record of the exchange. Messages are not shared outside the operation unless disclosure is required by law or needed to protect the service.
Technical Details Collected
Normal page delivery and security systems may record technical information when a page loads.
- Internet protocol address
- Browser name and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on each
- Referring page, when supplied by the browser
- Visit and request timestamps
Cookies and similar tools
Cookies may help measure how visitors use the service, keep a preference, or support a partner feature. Browser settings can block or delete cookies. Some functions may work differently when they are blocked.
How Information Is Used
- Keep the pages available, secure, and reasonably fast.
- Route a search request to the partner service selected by the visitor.
- Learn which Bonner County records pages are useful.
- Find errors, abuse, and technical faults.
- Show advertising that may be relevant to a visitor's interests.
The service links to official sources such as the Bonner County Public Reports page for the Bonner County Detention Facility and the Idaho Department of Correction search. Clicking an external link transfers the visitor to that provider's systems and policies.
Outside Links and Services
Pages may link to the Bonner County sheriff, city police departments, booking and court resources, state corrections, federal locators, news outlets, and third-party search tools. Once a visitor leaves this service, the destination's own privacy notice governs its data handling. Bonner County Busted Mugshots does not control another provider's content, retention, security, or uptime.
Some advertising partners can recognize activity across different sites for interest-based advertising on their systems. That activity is governed by the partner's disclosures and available controls.
A court lookup should be made through iCourt and a county records request through the responsible office, not through an assumption that a private search partner is official.
Who May Receive Data
Personal information is not sold by this service as a standalone data sale. It may be available to the following parties when needed for the purposes above or required by law:
- Search partners that process an entered query.
- Analytics services that measure page use.
- Advertising networks and their service vendors.
- Law-enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order.
Security Is Best Effort
Reasonable administrative, technical, and access controls are used to protect information. No internet-connected system is perfectly secure, however. Bonner County Busted Mugshots cannot promise that a message, transmission, or stored technical record will be breach-proof.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor sent a message or other data, a parent or guardian may request review and deletion through the site's contact route.
Your Privacy Choices
- Ask what personal information this service holds about you.
- Request correction of information that is wrong.
- Request deletion where no legal or operational reason requires retention.
- Ask to opt out of a processing activity when an applicable choice is available.
Requests should identify the information and a reliable way to respond. A request about a sheriff, police, court, IDOC, or news record must go to that record custodian. This service cannot alter an official Bonner County record.
Changes to This Notice
Privacy practices can change as the service, law, or partner tools change. A revised notice will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means the revised notice applies to later visits.
