Why This Reference Exists
Idaho makes many arrest and booking details accessible, but the right source depends on the record. The Bonner County Sheriff's Public Reports page carries a current inmate offense list and dated archives. The sheriff's detention information describes the county custody system. The court, the Idaho Department of Correction, and each city police department hold different parts of the record.
This private service gathers those official paths, request steps, and source distinctions in plain language. It does not create a mugshot gallery, store official records, or copy booking photos. An arrest entry is an accusation. The court decides what happens afterward.
What the Pages Provide
The page set follows Bonner County's actual systems rather than assuming every county has the same feed.
- The home page explains the sheriff's current custody PDF, booking fields, records requests, the Idaho mugshot law question, court records, IDOC, and federal fallbacks.
- The Most Wanted Fugitives page separates the sheriff's felony and misdemeanor warrant feeds from its social wanted destination.
- The Crime News page maps the Daily Bee, Sandpoint Reader, sheriff channels, and the verified county-level secondary pages with clear caveats.
- Sandpoint, Priest River, and Ponderay pages explain each police records route and how city arrests connect to the Bonner County Detention Facility.
Official sources remain the first stop. A private publisher or local story can be dated, incomplete, or wrong, so it should be checked against the originating office and court.
What Cannot Be Done
Bonner County Busted Mugshots is not connected to the Bonner County Sheriff's Office, any city police department, Idaho Department of Correction, court, or other government body. It cannot act as a records custodian or speak for an agency.
- It cannot release, hold, transfer, or confirm a person in custody.
- It cannot post bond, schedule a jail visit, or send money to a facility.
- It cannot provide legal advice or decide whether a record should be sealed or expunged.
- It cannot guarantee that an agency phone number, fee, address, report, or status is current.
Only the responsible sheriff, police department, corrections office, or court can confirm a current status or release a record. The sheriff's Records Department is the proper source for a Bonner County jail request.
Search Partners
Some search boxes on these pages are supplied by outside providers. Those providers set their own pricing, terms, and result handling. If a tool leads to a paid signup, Bonner County Busted Mugshots may receive a referral fee. That disclosure helps support the service and does not make the partner an official county source or give the service control over the partner's results.
For official state custody, use the IDOC Resident/Client Search. For a court disposition, use iCourt. Those government sources answer different questions from a private search partner.
