This service cannot confirm whether someone is in custody, release anyone, file a records request, or obtain an official photo on a reader's behalf. The government office that created the record must answer those questions.
Bonner County Sheriff and Jail
The Bonner County Sheriff's Office is the primary contact for county custody and sheriff-held records. The official Public Reports page carries the current inmate offense list, warrant links, and archives. The Detention page describes the Bonner County Detention Facility.

Requests for reports must be in writing. Use the Bonner County public-records form for request, fee, response, and appeal fields.
Ask the sheriff for the current custody report, a county booking record, or a booking photograph if it is maintained and disclosable. The sheriff's page states an initial three-business-day response. The county form supplies resident and nonresident extension terms.
Where to Ask for a City Record
A city police department holds its incident and arrest report even when the person is booked at the county jail. Use the city custodian for the police record and the sheriff for the county custody record.
- Sandpoint Police: 1123 W. Lake Street, Sandpoint, ID 83864; main 208-263-3158; records questions 208-265-1482; fax 208-263-3587. Use the Sandpoint reports and records page.
- Priest River Police: 552 High Street, Priest River, ID 83856; police 208-448-1521; city records 208-448-2123; fax 208-448-2232. Use the Priest River public-records form.
- Ponderay Police: 476770 Highway 95, P.O. Box 500, Ponderay, ID 83852; 208-265-4251; fax 208-265-5226; records email bdunlap@ponderaypd.org. Use the Ponderay Records Section.
None of the three city source pages supplied a fixed photo-specific fee or turnaround in the research review. Ask the current records unit which office maintains a requested image.
Courts and Later Custody
For an arraignment, case number, plea, dismissal, acquittal, or sentence, use the Idaho Supreme Court records page and iCourt. The Bonner County Clerk's phone is 208-265-1437. A jail report's Related Case field can help locate the docket, but the court controls the disposition.
For a person under Idaho state custody, probation, or parole, use the IDOC Resident/Client Search. For federal sentenced custody, use the BOP locator. For immigration detention, use the ICE locator or its Detention Reporting and Information Line at 1-888-351-4024. These systems do not answer ordinary county booking questions.
For a safety emergency, call 911. For a non-emergency county question, use the sheriff's dispatch number above.
